We are excited to announce that registration for the 2025 Fall Baseball and Softball season will open July 21st. Registration will close on August 10thth. The Fall league for baseball is open to players ages 6 -12 and for softball ages 6-14. We do not offer T-ball during the Fall. You must register on-line at www.gblbaseball.org
The GBL Fall Instructional League is a Sunday only league. Teams will have 3 to 4 Sunday practices starting in late August and an 8-game schedule will be played each Sunday starting September 14th and running through November 9thth.
Once again this Fall players will be required to play in the age division they will play this upcoming Spring (For baseball it is their age as of 4/30/26 and for softball it is their age of 1/1/25. We are limited in the number of teams we can have in each age division due to limited field space in the fall. The registration cost for the Fall Instructional League is $110. The registration fee for Jr. Coach Pitch baseball is $90.
The Fall league is distinctly different from our Spring season. Besides playing just on Sundays, there will be no win-loss records kept (we do keep score during the games), no playoffs, no trophies and no weather makeups. The Fall Instructional League is designed to help players sharpen their skills for the Spring season through practices and in-game experiences. Players will receive a uniform jersey and hat. There are no evaluations for the fall and teams will be formed by our League Directors. We do not accept play together requests for the fall.
For the Fall league to be successful WE NEED VOLUNTEER COACHES. Without Volunteer coaches the GBL Fall League cannot exist. Please consider volunteering a couple of hours a week to coach one of these teams. The GBL Fall League is a great learning opportunity for coaches as well!
